What Does “Heirloom” Mean?Heirloom plant species are vegetables, flowers, and fruits grown from seeds that are passed down from generation to generation. Heirloom seeds are open-pollinated, meaning they rely on natural pollination from insects or the wind.
Full sun, up against a fence so allow you to trellis and use your space wisely. Plant where you have previously grown or are intending on growing tomatoes, eggplants or capsicum.
How to Plant
Sow directly to your patch at a depth 2-3 times the diameter of the seed. It is easiest if you use a chop stick or pencil to form holes 2-3cm deep and then place two to three seeds in each hole, cover over, pat down and water in.
